"Saba Met" means "Grandpa Died" in Hebrew. I wasn't close to my grandfather, but I went to New York anyway to view the scattering of his ashes in the Hudson River Bay.
I didn't know it then, but a camera malfunction caused all my film photos to come out unfocused; I only found out weeks later when developing the film. It was unintentional, but the blurriness perfectly captured the relationship I had with him: difficult, distant, disjointed, and above all, out of focus.
